Hi Everyone! Biggest news?!? I'm NOT pregnant anymore! LOL Alyssa Susan Ann was born on December 30. I've been taking some time off to spend with her and haven't been designing much. But I'm back online and designing up a storm.

Name This Kit Contest!!!

Ugh....I just typed this whole post, pressed the publish button and it disappeared and my whole IE closed!!! Argh...So, here I go again. :-)

Last week, I was perusing the DST Scraptalk forum (one of my daily things I do) and I saw an ISO for a Christmas kit with pink, white, red, and apple green colors in it. I thought about it for just two seconds before I got inspired. In fact, soo inspired that I quickly whipped this out. The color scheme was just soo easy to work with and it all came to me. But then.....the mojo ended. And here it is 3 or 4 days later and I have this problem that I need help with.

This kit needs a NAME! Please help me! At first I thought when I started this that Lil' Miss Christmas would be good. But now that I look at the finished product, besides the pink, it really isn't THAT girly enough for that name. So, help me...PLEASE! Help me name this kit!

Whoever's name I choose will get this kit for free! Whatcha waitin' for? Suggest away!

What I've been teasing you about.......Our New CT!!!

Here is all the info that I've been teasing you about! I probably won't post any design related stuff for about a week or so as I want this to remain the top post. We are advertising everywhere and pointing them to our blogs for details. And here they are:

Creative Team Call

KariQ and Kris Myers Designs have come together to start a brand new Creative Team. We are currently looking for 8 to 12 new people to join our team. Not only are we looking for layout designers, but we are also looking for 3 positions to be filled on our team.

The three positions that we are looking to have filled are advertising director – a person that oversees and organizes all advertising duties; and an administrative assistants to KariQ & Kris Myers – duties include one person maintaining the CT blog, one person maintaining the yahoo group. Both assistants will be updating our personal blogs, as well as keeping us up to date on what is going on in the digiworld, and helping Kari & Kris with general maintenance. Any person who chooses to do any of these positions will have fewer requirements on the CT with layouts & other responsibilities. *we do ask that anyone applying for the director/administrative assistants not be on another CT and would prefer that some kind of experience be included with your application. Whether the experience is just being an organized person, or any other personal qualities that you think would help. You don’t need a bachelor’s degree to apply. Just simple reasons on why you think you are qualified for the job.

When applying for the CT layout designer positions, please be aware of the following expectations that are required to stay on the team.

• 4 layouts per month, of which 50% of the layout should be of the kit you are highlighting;
• Only one layout per kit is required;
• You get the choice of working with whoever’s kits inspire you, KariQ’s or Kris’s;
• Challenges and activities will be organized for more fun, and layout inspirations to help you stay motivated, but are not required;
• Advertising of our products, organized by our new Advertising Director. Don’t worry, you’ll be sharing the work with your team members; and
• Leaving love on your fellow team members layouts

Need a Name.....Help us Come up with One!

If you read my last post, my sister and I are joining forces and creating a new creative team. But we are stuck.....we can't come up with a name. We wanted something with K in it....cause both our names start with K - Kris and Kari. We also thought it would be cool to have something with the word sisters in it. But we are stumped! (oh...if you need a reminder of just who my sister is....there is a link to her blog on the right side bar - scroll down till you get to "My partner in crime...Kris Myers")

Want to help us come up with one???

I thought K squared - K2 (dang....can't superscript here) was cool. Or Special Ks.....or......I don't know.....having a block!

Any ideas? There just might be something in it for the one who picks us a good name. He he!

I'll post all the details of the new CT soon.....its gonna be a big one though - 12 members. And then some assistant/director positions too.

Hi Everyone! Guess what I'm 31 weeks pregnant now! And man oh man...I know I told all of you this before, but this is definitely my last one! I'm sooooooooo NOT doing this again. This has been the absolute worst pregnancy experience of all of my three. I won't give you all the details but who ever heard of throwing up 3 times a day this late in pregnancy?!?

I have been able to keep up with designing but that's about it. I've neglected my blog (both this one and my family one..sigh!).

But before I show off all my designs, I gotta give you even more news. My sister and I are going to join efforts and create a new Creative Team! 3. Guess what? I have personal news! If all of you have followed my blog for a while, you know I had a baby girl in May 2007. She just turned one a few weeks ago!!!! Yes, I'm excited, but I'm sad too. What happened to the last year??? Ok, so my beautiful little one year old girl, and my 7-year old girl........are going to be both BIG SISTERS again! :-) I'm pregnant! This is my last one! I really want to give DH a boy (he's surrounded by all females! LOL), so we are trying one more time to have a little boy. But this is the last - even if it is a girl..... I want my body back! LOL Anyway, that's my big news! I'm about 10 weeks now and due on Christmas Day! ACK!

Basic Grey Chipboard Albums! Do you use them?

Hi Everyone! I'm loving the Basic Grey Chipboard albums. And I'd love to hear from my readers how many of you use them....Does everyone know what I'm talking about?

I'm really liking them and hope to use some soon. Ok, ok...since I live in the middle of nowhere, I have to order them but I'm really excited about them! LOL

My question to you is - are you using them? Do you plan on using them? And would you use quickpages for these? Ok, that's more than one question. LOL I'm starting to see them all over the place and I thought I'd whip some up.... What do you think? Would you use them? Guess what? I've got great news!!! My sister (Kris Myers Designs) and I teamed together to bring you a completely awesome, out of this world, totally just coool collaboration!
